Commissions and Portraits
If you are interested in commissioning a painting give me a call and we can talk about your ideas. The process starts with your thoughts about subjects, style, size, and what would please you most to hang on your wall. If you have a photo you like, you can email it to me to preview. Once we have a general direction and some reference photos then I will do a preliminary sketch and a color study. This should give you a fairly good idea of what your painting will look like. After your approval, I can then get to work.
Prices
Prices start at $300 and will vary depending on size and composition with number of horses requested. Please call or email if interested in commissioning a painting to discuss specifics and I'll be happy to provide you with a quote.
- A 50% deposit is due at the time of commissioning. The remainder of the balance and shipping cost due upon completion.
- Painting can be done from your photographs providing they are of high quality. Professional photographs cannot be used without written permission of the photographer.
